As a non-resort, rural metro area, it provides a unique blend of small-town community and big adventure. The Cycle Effect’s vibrant program in Mesa County empowers athletes to engage with the outdoors and the Grand Valley community, create lasting friendships, and build confidence on some of the most exciting terrain in the region.

Girls Mountain Bike & Mentorship Program

The Girls Mountain Bike Program has helped over 1,000 young riders discover their potential—both on and off the bike. There’s never been a better program for girls to grow their confidence, find belonging, and gain access to year-round experiences that shape their futures. Through mentorship and skill-building, Cycle Effect riders grow into their most empowered selves, while having fun and building lasting friendships.

Bikes, gear, and transportation provided
Low cost (only $65 per 12-week session!) + scholarships available
