Summit County boasts some of the best and most easily accessible trail networks in Colorado, offering riders endless opportunities to explore and grow. With a robust Mujeres y Pedales Women’s program, a great weekly race series, and strong community engagement, athletes in Summit County are immersed in a supportive and dynamic cycling culture. The Cycle Effect’s program here helps riders build confidence, skills, and lasting connections, all while enjoying the incredible trails and opportunities this mountain community has to offer.
Girls Mountain Bike & Mentorship Program
The Girls Mountain Bike Program has helped over 1,000 young riders discover their potential—both on and off the bike. There’s never been a better program for girls to grow their confidence, find belonging, and gain access to year-round experiences that shape their futures. Through mentorship and skill-building, Cycle Effect riders grow into their most empowered selves, while having fun and building lasting friendships.

Mujeres y Pedales program
Mujeres y Pedales is a women’s mountain biking program built around growth, skill development, and community. Whether you’re new to mountain biking or looking to refine your skills, this program provides structured, supportive coaching to help you progress on and off the bike.
The more you commit, the more you’ll gain. Each practice is designed to develop your technique, confidence, and fitness. While no prior experience is required, some practices are specifically staffed to support new riders, ensuring everyone feels welcome and empowered to learn.
